We’re on a Boat! A Sunset Charter Boat!
This past Sunday we were graciously invited by our friend Dani to go on a sunset charter boat tour out of Playa Flamingo Marina. This is something we have been wanting to do since arriving in Costa Rica and just like that we were on a boat! Our boat was the Panache Catamaran, a sweet catamaran with an awesome staff. After meeting up with Dani, her friend Todd, Vanessa, & Adam, we set sail right around 2pm and conditions were perfect. Drinks were flowing and we were on our way to a nice snorkel spot.
Our group took an awesome spot right on the trampoline at the bow and the views were amazing. Take a look for yourself.
El Capitan pulled us into a secluded bay and there were options for snorkeling, paddle boarding, swim to beach, kayaking, or just hang out and drink. Shannon & I chose snorkeling as we love to visit our underwater neighbors.

After all water activities were done and mas cervezas in hand, the sails came out and we were sailing towards another amazing Costa Rica sunset.
The sun set while we were pulling into the Marina and it was another perfect sunset here in Costa Rica. We drove home in Chivo and couldn’t believe that this is where we live. We say that pretty much every day. Just in case you were wondering.
